Caja del Rio Trash Cleanup Series

9:00 am - 12:00 pm
Caja Del Rio

Join New Mexico Wild for a volunteer cleanup in the Caja del Rio near Santa Fe. This culturally significant landscape, rich in Indigenous history and home to diverse ecosystems ranging from piñon-juniper woodlands to dramatic basalt cliffs, deserves our care.

During this three-hour service project, volunteers will help remove trash from public lands — from small litter to larger discarded items. This event is open to all ages (youth must be accompanied by a parent or guardian).

Please bring a day pack with water and snacks. New Mexico Wild will provide trash grabbers, gloves (nitrile and leather), and trash bags, as well as a truck to haul debris to the landfill. If you have access to a truck and are willing to help haul larger items, your support is greatly appreciated.

Date and Time: Sunday, March 22, 2026 9 a.m to 12 p.m

Location – Caja Del Rio end of County rd. 62, 35.69063, -106.09433

*Road conditions are greatly affected by weather. In the case of inclement weather, this event might be canceled.*

RSVP is required to attend. Please fill out the form below!
