Become a Wilderness Defender

Wilderness Defenders are the eyes, ears, and hands protecting New Mexico’s wild places. When you volunteer with New Mexico Wild, you join a community taking real action—from monitoring remote landscapes and restoring trails to speaking up for public lands or supporting the work behind the scenes. However you show up, you’re helping keep New Mexico’s lands healthy, wild, and protected for generations to come.
